The interior
of the Lutheran Church in Hanko. The church was originally built
of red brick, and was completed in 1892. During World War II the
church was badly damaged by the Russian Army. The church was completely
renovated in 1953. |
|
Additional
renovation to the church was done in 1973, and works of the textile
artist Oili Mäki were added. This statue of Christ was placed on
the right sight of the sanctuary. |
